Founded in 2012 by acclaimed publisher Hans Kemp of Visionary World and seasoned writer Tom Vater, Crime Wave Press publishes a range of crime fiction – from whodunits to Noir and Hardboiled, from historical mysteries to espionage thrillers, from literary crime to pulp fiction, from highly commercial page turners to marginal texts exploring Asia’s dark underbelly.

Crime Wave Press is proud to announce that “Mindfulness and Murder” by Nick Wilgus is now available as an e-book and as paperback through amazon. Mindfulness and Murder features Father Ananda, a Buddhist monk, solving the mysterious murder of a young boy in a monastery in the heart of Bangkok.

The second Father Ananda mystery is on its way! Sister Suicide, which follows the Bangkok-based Buddhist monk turned sleuth to the Thai hinterland to solve a crime involving the seven Buddhist hells, will be available as e-book in January 2013 followed by the paperback edition in February.

Crime Wave Press continues to make waves: major UK based crime fiction publisher Exhibit A has acquired the world wide rights to The Cambodian Book of the Dead by Tom Vater, except for Thailand and Cambodia, where Crime Wave Press will continue to sell the title.

Because of this acquisition, as of now we are unable to offer The Cambodian Book of the Dead as an e-book. We will keep you informed and will announce here when Exhibit A goes live with The Cambodian Book of the Dead.

Editorial Xplora, the Spanish publisher who acquired The Devil’s Road to Kathmandu for the Spanish language market, has created a beautiful book trailer for “Kathmandu, Camino al infierno” as the book will be called in Spanish. See the trailer here.
