Untamed Travel Or Farang Magazine is a Thailand based monthly travel publication which has been courageously and somewhat haphazardly publishing those stories most major travel publications fear to run. Editors Cameron Cooper and Jim Algie have been dishing up weird and wonderful stories for more than 5 years. For some 50 issues, Untamed Travel has continuously provided a platform for writers too wacky, brilliant or pathetic to be published elsewhere in the region.
When Tom Vater first began to write about South East Asia, Untamed Travel offered space and funds to numerous struggling writers and photographers, some of whom are now well-established professionals. Others settled into Bangkok life and went insane.
Most importantly, the acerbic wit of the editorial team made for fantastic entertainment and guaranteed that no two issues would ever be similiar.
